Here it is 2016 and it’s been seven months since my last update here. I’ll be honest, I had posts I wanted to write but I have been crazy busy.

 
First, editing Demon Hunter took up a good chunk of my attention.  I finished edits in October, adding almost 14,000 words overall.  I rewrote entire chapters, including a section that I initially kind of glossed through because it was holding me up. My beta readers called me out on, which I’m glad they did, and I admitted it.  Of course, what they got in return was a section of the story that was completely rewritten and expanded making it much better than the original.  Granted, I had time to go back and figure out how to make it better, and it paid off.  Even I was happy with the end result.
Secondly, work has gotten much busier for me. I started a new position at work, so I’m now on the road five days a week, but that also means my writing time has gone down.  I still find time to write here and there when possible and also at night.  I’ve taken to writing some short stories by hand, allowing me to take them on the road with me, and then later I can type them up.  
Finally, between all that I still need to maintain some sanity and a little social life, so yeah, I do my best to get out on occasion.  The holidays were nice and relaxing, and in truth, I didn’t do much writing then either.  With the new year, and Demon Hunter out to beta readers for a second read through, I’ve turned my attention to another story.  My goals are reasonable, like typing up a working outline for the story by month end, which I actually beat my deadline by completing my outline last week.  Now to start writing, and my goals for that will be reasonable too – A chapter or two a month and most. 

For now, it’s back to working on my latest projects.
